Easter Weekend

I am a bit late but I had a great Easter weekend in Austin. The Easter bunny really likes me and brought me 3 Easter baskets. Okay, I just got one this week but it still counts.

Happy birthday daddy!  He turned very old today.  We celebrated by going to the zoo.  In honor of his big day, here are some cute photos of me.

9 months old!

Today I turn the ripe old age of 9 months.  Mema, is my present in the mail???  The time is just flying by!  I am now eating solid food.  While it's not exactly solid, it's not served out of a bottle either so I guess it counts as solid food.  I am still a long way from steak and potatoes.  I really want to use the spoon myself but Mom won't let me.  Something about me spraying her face with sweet potatoes.  Geesh woman, get over it already. 

I am also crawling, which scares the daylights out of the parents.  Now that I have my own wheels I am in to everything.    Life is way more fun when you can go where you want.  I am pretty sure that Gracie agrees. 

I am also gettng my first tooth!  Thank goodness, Daddy was afraid they were going to have to fit me for dentures. 

I am so ready for the rodeo next year.  This year it's a lamb, next year it's the bull ride!

Baptism Time!

I was baptized at St. Luke's United Methodist Church on Sunday, February 28th. That's where I go to school! I was very good that day - I didn't cry or spit up on the minister. I also didn't sit still for many photos.

Here I am plotting my escape while Uncle Dan, Mema, Mom, Grando, Aunt Samantha, and Dad smile lovingly for the camera.

In honor of the Oscars, it's movie time!

Mommy has been playing with her new video camera. Let's just say that there is no fear of her receiving an Oscar any time soon. However, her subject is definitely best actress material. Mommy can't figure out how to rotate the videos so I apologize in advance for any neck pain. As soon as I can read I will teach her how to these things. It's amazing she has made it this long without me.

Christmas

I am sorry that this is late but I have just been super busy since Christmas.  I got alot of new toys and it's so hard to find the time to play with them all.  I know, life is tough.

6 months update

It's hard to believe but I turn 6 months old tomorrow.  I think I look pretty good for my age.  I am getting a little heavy in the belly so I am considering adding some sit ups - got to keep that girly figure.  In honor of the occasion I thought I would list a few of my favorite things:

 Favorite Hobby:  Reading the newspaper with Dad in bed on Sundays - see photo below.  Dad recently had back surgery, so in Mom's words he is useless.  But he can sit in bed with me and read the paper!
Favorite Food: Are you kidding me?  I don't eat food yet.  I start that tomorrow.  Will get back to you on that experience.  Not sure who is dreading it more, me or mom. 
Best Friend: Gracie of course.  I just wish that she would sit still so that I could grab her tail.  We are going to have lots of fun together once I can actually move on my own.
Favorite Activity:  It was playing in my exersaucer - see photo below - but now it's sitting up on my own - also see photo below.  I do not like laying on my back.  Laying down is what babies do and I am a big girl now.
Second Favorite Activity: Putting anything and everything into my mouth.  Stuff just needs to be chewed on. 
Favorite Color: Is there any question???  Pink, of course.  Mema, keep the cute outfits coming.

Well, I have to jet - need to finish my Christmas shopping.  Merry Christmas everyone!  As you can see by the photo below I am the best present under the tree.  But there better be some presents under there for me!
